Templates

Find out which templates are approved before you send, and how many parameters each one needs.

Paths are relative to https://api.chatboxai.dev/api, so /v1/messages/template means https://api.chatboxai.dev/api/v1/messages/template. Every request needs an API key, see Authentication.

Placeholders

Count the {{n}} placeholders in body to know how many parameters your send has to supply, in order. A mismatch is rejected by WhatsApp with metaCode: 132000.

Creating templates

Creating and submitting templates is not in this API. A submission is a request to Meta that takes days, can be rejected, and affects the business's quality rating: it belongs to a person in the dashboard.
